We need all sorts of volunteers to make the adventure happen, back room bodies as well as crazy leaders getting mucky with the young people.
The 5th Saffron Walden Scout Group provides incredible opportunities for nearly 200 youngsters aged 4-14. Whether it’s international trips, sleeping under the stars, making pancakes or learning our way around Saffron Walden, those young people within the group are getting memorable experiences and skills for life.
Sitting behind the amazing leaders, we also have an amazing support structure of trainers, activity instructors and executive committees.
Can you spare 20-30 mins a week to help out? Get in touch, you won’t regret it!

We have an urgent need for a Squirrel leader. You would be joining an experienced team of leaders and will get all the support and training you need – you will not be thrown in at the deep end!
